Thomas & Friends: Engine Activities FAQ

1. How can I skip the introduction?

You can skip the introductory animation at any time by tapping on the screen.

2. The sound is not working correctly.

If the sound is malfunctioning, please make sure your device is not muted. You can check this in your device settings, under General. Please also check that the side switch on your device is not locked, as this screen-locking feature also functions as a mute switch.

3. How do I purchase more activities from Thomas & Friends?

Additional activity packs are available and, once purchased, can be accessed from multiple devices. To download a new activity pack, go to the home screen and drag Thomas until the locked activity packs are visible (you must have an internet connection to view). Upon selecting a pack, tap the red “Buy” icon. From here you will be prompted to sign into the App Store and complete the purchase.

You can also access additional packs from the paint, puzzle, or matching sections of the app. When inside any section, simply tap on the locked icon to view pack information and/or purchase the content.

4. I’ve purchased a pack on my iPad but it’s not showing up on my iPhone. What should I do?

Because Engine Activities is universal, you should be able to run all purchased packs on iPad and iPhone, without needing to buy them again. To access an already purchased pack on a different device, simply tap the “Buy” icon on the second device. The app will recognize that you already own those activities, and you will be prompted to begin the download free of charge.

5. How do I access my card collection?

As you continue to purchase packs, you will unlock cards for your match card collection. To see which cards you already have, go to the match game and tap the Thomas icon in the bottom right corner of the screen. From here, you can view and interact with your cards, or purchase more for your collection!

6. Is there a way to save my paintings?

It’s easy to save your paintings to your iPad or iPhone. Once your artwork is complete, tap the arrow icon in the upper right corner of the screen. From here, you will be prompted to save your painting to your Photos library. Tap “Yes,” and the painting will be stored in the “Photos” application on your device.

7. The app is crashing when I try to download an in-app purchase. What’s wrong?

The latest update addresses crashing issues related to downloading in-app purchases. Please update your app to resolve the issue.
