Callaway Announces a New Season of
Adventures for Miss Spider and Nova the Robot

NEW YORK, September 27, 2005. For Immediate Release . . . Callaway Arts & Entertainment and Penguin Young Readers Group are pleased to announce the release of fifteen new Miss Spider and Nova the Robot books for fall 2005.

The Miss Spider trade titles, based on episodes from the hit TV series on Nick Jr., Miss Spider’s Sunny Patch Friends, are published by Callaway Arts & Entertainment and distributed by Penguin Young Readers Group. They inclade the jacketed hardcover The Listening Walk; Wiggle’s Squiggles, a hardcover with pop-up surprise; and Dashing Through the Snow, a holiday story with foil cover.

Grosset & Dunlap, a division of Penguin Young Readers Group, will release eight new Miss Spider mass-market titles. These include the oversized board books Miss Spider’s Busy Buggy Day!, Oh Boy, It’s Bounce!, Surf with Squirt!, and Spotlight on Shimmer!; the paperbacks Happy Heartwood Day and Sing It, Sister!; the wipe-off coloring book Bugs Away!; and Suppertime in Sunny Patch, a color-your-own place-mat book.

Callaway will introduce Nova the Robot’s next frontier of adventures with Nova’s Super-Galactic Pop-Up, a 3-D version of David Kirk’s original Nova’s Ark. Grosset & Dunlap will also release three new Nova mass-market titles: the coloring books Science Fair Scare and Sparky’s Space Adventure and the sticker storybook Cosmic Play Dates!

Miss Spider’s web continues to grow. In July 2005, Lions Gate released episode DVDs of Miss Spider’s Sunny Patch Friends, each with an array of special features for children. A line of Miss Spider toys by Fisher-Price will be available worldwide this fall.
